Isobel Caldwell (she/they) is a Hong Kong born, Naarm based musician who writes intricate, meditative songs exploring love, loss and mental health through a delicate balance of soft, soaring vocals and lilting guitar arrangements. Weaving together reflections and observations on the everyday, Isobel’s songs are a tonic and a much needed warm hug for the ears. Isobel is the kind of musician who wears their heart on their sleeve, exploring the thornier aspects of life in a gentle, insightful way. In 2022, Isobel and her band released their debut album 'Duty Of Care', a tribute to growth in grief and the importance of friendship. Since the release, the various songs have garnered widespread radio play across the continent. 2023 takes Isobel and her band on the road for the first time with the ‘Duty Of Care’ Album Tour, alongside a collection of special guests. The Gods Bandroom event will be be supported by Y.C. Liu and Carissa Nyalu.
