Artist Statement:
A series of illusionistic light sculptures hidden throughout the Drift FEstival Hub @Village green
A ghostly new work from artist Joel Zika and Collide Public Arts floats between the historic architecture and beautiful gardens of the Village Green. Beacons of light appear to drift amongst the trees, lighting a path to guide and beckon visitors. The animated works manifest as delicate and ornate sculptures, each made of precious materials emanating a surreal and transfixing light.
This stunning new work features cutting edge holographic screens that will enthrall visitors of all ages.
